Fly Los Angeles to Bangkok on Thai Airways, arriving early morning of Day 3
Day 3 BANGKOK
Arrive early in the AM. Free morning to spend as you please. Lunch at Thai House and afternoon canal tour.
Overnight Bangkok.
Day 4 BANGKOK
Visit city highlights, including Grand Palace, Reclining Buddha and Jim Thompson's House. Free Afternoon.
Overnight Bangkok.
Day 5 CHIANG MAI
Fly to Chiang Mai. Visit traditional crafts village and temples. Optional drive to Mae Sa Valley. Night Bazaar.

Day 6 LAMPANG
Day trip to Lamphun and Pampang with their magnificent temples and historic cultural sites. Night Bazaar.

Days 7 - 8 MAE HONG SON
Fly to Mae Hong Son for two day vehicle-based tour of hilltribe villages, including elephant trek and river trip.
Overnight in Mae Hong Son.
Day 9 PHUKET/BANGKOK
Return flight to Bangkok. Here you can choose to either relax at Phuket, a beach resort for last three days or overnight in BANGKOK for the next day's tour to Angkor.
Day 10 ANGKOR/BANGKOK
AM flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia for those choosing to explore Angkor. Visit Ta Phrom and Angkor Wat at sunset. Overnight Siem Reap. Group members in Bangkok will visit Ayutthaya, the former capital of Siam, and return to the city by luxury riverboat.

Day 11 ANGKOR/BANGKOK
Full day exploring Angkor Thom, the Bayon, Terrace of the Elephants, Angkor Wat, and other wonderful sites. Overnight Siem Reap. Bangkok members visit the private Prasart art collection. Free afternoon to relax and explore.

Day 12 Depart for the USA.
