Train thru Copper Canyon The Copper Canyon is a colorful place consisting of several canyons. There are the colorful Tarahumana Indians, beautiful landscapes and vistas, and interesting sites all around. The train is modern and comfortable. Your ticket allows you to disembark and reboard as you please. The train is air conditioned with bar and dining cars serviced by Balderrama Hotels. There are pleasant locals and security on board the train.

Typical Decor Recommend Itinerary:

Day 1
Always start from the south and travel north to Chihuahua. We do not recommend an overnight in Los Mochas, but transfer to El Fuerte for the first night at Posada del Hidago, a beautiful mansion typical of Mexico.

Church and Rainbow Day 2
Board the train early this morning. Sitting on the east side of the train will allow for some great photo opportunities. Arrive at Bahuichivo where your driver will meet you and take you to Cerocahui. Check into the Hotel Mision, have lunch, and in the afternoon take a tour to Cerro del Gallego to view Unique Canyon. In the evening you can visit the Jesuit Mission or the Tarahumana School which are both adjacent to the hotel. There is also a winery at the hotel. (LD)

Local Woman with Child Day 3
