Corobici River - Class II
This is the calmest rafting trip offered in Costa Rica, safe enough for
children, and gentle enough for the elderly to enjoy. Leisurely rafting
along with a chance to see a multitude of birds and monkeys in the trees
along the river banks.
Sarapique River - Class III
A wild, free-flowing river located in the northeastern area of Costa
Rica. It flows north to the border of Nicaragua, offering challenging
rapids and lush scenery.
Reventazon River - Class III
This is a truly delightful rafting experience that everyone will enjoy.
You’ll paddle through moderately flowing rapids that are interspersed
with stretches of calm, tranquil water, and you’ll have plenty of time
to view the magnificent tropical scenery that surrounds you throughout
the journey. Hawks, flycatchers, kingfishers, herons, and other birds
native to Costa Rica, accompany you from above.
Pacuare River - Class III-IV
This popular rafting trip will treat you to one of the most exotic and
scenic rivers in the world. The Pacuare is a swift running, rapidly
changing river, making it one of the most invigorating rafting trips,
picking your way through remote rapids, rafting past steep canyons where
cascading waterfalls plummet hundreds of feet into the river below.

International Scale of River Difficulty
Class I
Moving water a few riffles and small waves. Few or no obstructions.
Class II
Easy rapids with waves up to three feet, and wide, clear channels that are obvious without scouting. Some maneuvering is required.
Class III
Rapids with high, irregular waves often capable of swamping an open canoe. Narrow passages that often require complex maneuvering.
Class IV
Long, difficult rapids with constricted passages that often require precise maneuvering in very turbulent waters.
Class V
Extremely difficult, long, and very violent rapids with highly congested routes that nearly always must be scouted from shore.
