Chirripo National Park
Location: Central Valley & Highlands

Chirripo National Park is home to the highest peak in Costa Rica. Mount Chirripo is 3,820 meters high and resembles the type of paramo life zone associated with the Andes in Peru. If you plan to hike to the top, you will need to contact the park services before arrival to make reservations, and you should only go during the dry season.
