The Eco Lodge
Location: North Central, Arenal National Park

Eco Lodge This is surely the most satisfying experience a nature lover and adventure could ask for when visiting Costa Rica. Nestled in the Guanacaste Mountain Range, next to the famous heart shaped Coter Lagoon, the Lodge has 25 rooms and 8 new cabins with private baths and views of Lake Arenal. The environment is similar to that of the famous Monteverde Reserve. Several other interesting attractions such as Arenal Lake, Arenal Volcano, Tabacon Hot Springs, and Venado Caves are close by.

Eco Lodge Room The friendly relaxing atmosphere of The Eco Lodge, make guests feel right at home. The tranquility of the lodge and its beautiful surrounding provide a unique opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, as well as discover the wonders of Costa Rican ecology. Plenty of family style meals, which include international cuisine and some typical Costa Rican foods are relished by all.

A welcoming fireplace greets guests as they enter the Eco Lodge. The honor bar and lots of entertainment material are available for pleasant relaxed evenings. The lodge is equipped with hot water, electricity and first class sleeping accommodations.

In the main lodge, there are two wings of rooms with separate bathrooms for women and men. There are also 8 new cabins with private baths and spectacular views of Lake Arenal. All accommodations are impeccably clean.

The Lodge has a first class and fully equipped marina and an excellent supply of equipment for you to fully enjoy hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, water sports at Cote lagoon, wind surfing, fishing and exploring the Arenal Volcano and the Venado Caves.

Regular Activities: The Eco Lodge employees guides for all activities, including hiking in the Cloud Forest Reserve. The trails are well marked and easy to hike. Rubber boots and rain ponchos are available for guests of the lodge. There are half and full day horseback rides with outstanding views and excellent horses. Mountain bikes are also available for guests.

Marina Activities: The water sports are windsurfing, sailing, fishing, and canoeing. These sports are not included as a regular activity and can be purchased at the lodge.
