Don Carlos Hotel
Location: Central Valley & Highlands, San Jose

Don Carlos Hotel The Hotel Don Carlos expresses the warmth and charm of San Jose. Experience a glimpse into Costa Rica's rich heritage in our 33 room deluxe hotel located near downtown San Jose in "the" oldest historical residential area. All of our facilities have been entirely renovated during 1996 and for November 1998 we present our new outdoor "Orchid Garden" dinning area located next to live tropical birds and a mini pool with jungle waterfall Our great grandfather taught us never to compromise quality. Now in our fourth generation, our family continues to live by his words. We invite you to enjoy the quality that only a family business can provide, because DON CARLOS is more then a corporate name, it is a family name. We are owned and operated by the Don Carlos Family.

The Hotel Don Carlos is located in the "oldest" residential area of the city. This area is currently being redesigned as a refined French Quarter, like New Orleans. It is directly across the street from the world renowned "Pre-Columbian Jade Museum". A short walking tour from the hotel will take you to the local zoo, the 150 year old liquor factory which is now a cultural museum, the "Metal Building", built by A. Eiffel from the 1920's, and numerous museums and parks.

From your complimentary welcome cocktail in our "Pre-Columbian Garden Lounge" to our helpful English-French-Italian- Portuguese German speaking staff - The Hotel Don Carlos is dedicated to making your Costa Rican visit a memorable experience.
