Spectacular sunsets paint the sky and the clouds easing visitors into soothing tropical nights where the air is laden with fragrances of a thousand blossoms, the secret language of the insect world, and a night sky so clear that you feel as if you can almost sweep a handful of stars just by reaching out.
It was against this magical backdrop that Jim Damalas built his dream, proving that sustainable development could be achieved using local resources responsibly and protecting the environment that first inspired him.
The hotel has both suites and villas. Each villa converts into two deluxe hotel suites with kitchen or wet bar, and king or queen-size beds. Each accommodation has an unobstructed ocean view from every balcony, a well-appointed bathroom, ceiling fans and quality air conditioning systems.
The solar-heated Jacuzzi, pool, swim up bar and water slide are contoured into the jungle terraces and harmonize with the adjacent bar & grill, all overlooking the serene jungle and nearby Pacific coastline.
Today, energy-efficient air conditioners, solar heating panels, farm-grown wood and non-toxic resins are just a part of the thinking that has gone into the construction of this environmentally friendly resort. A water management system, custom designed for the hotel, will allow recycled water to be used for landscaping and will eventually
convert sewage into fertilizer.
