Montaņa Monteverde
Location: North Central, Monteverde Cloud Forest

The Hotel Montaņa Monteverde is located in northwest of Costa Rica, in the Pacific province of Puntarenas at 4500 feet above sea level in the Tilaran Mountain Range. Over 2000 plant species are native to the area, including a host of wild orchids. Also more than 315 species of birds and 100 species of mammals have been observed. Outstanding species are: Baird's Tapir, Jaguar, Ocelot, Resplandecent Quetzal, Black Guan, Three-wattled Bell bird and Bare necked Umbrella bird. Also giant pipers, strangler figs, road side Spanish Plag orchids and super abundant epiphytic vegetation.

Montaņa Monteverde is a small intimate country inn of twenty six double rooms. Each have 1 single and one double or 1 double and two singles beds, private bath, hot water, 2 lamps, 2 night tables, a writing desk with a chair, closet, and safe deposit box. There are also four junior suites each with one double and one single bed, private balcony, hot water, fire place, bath tub, private bath, carpets, 2 night tables, 2 lamps, writing desk and a chair, and a safe deposit box. One exclusive suite is equipped with a king size bed, mini bar, Jacuzzi, hot water, private bath, private balcony, 2 night tables, 2 lamps, closet, safe deposit box, a writing desk and a chair.

Montaņa Monteverde also offers: restaurant, bar, laundry, gift shop, free parking, free private reserve with walking tracks, sauna, Jacuzzi, conference room for 75 people, play ground, and gardens and green areas.
