| Hi, We just returned and wanted you to know we had a wonderful time. The whole family said it out-did even the Disney Cruise! There was something for all ages from 7 to 70+. It was crowded, but we were able to do everything we wanted and eat without waiting. Peace Lodge was a great beginning and we were sorry we arrived so late. We did the butterflies and waterfalls and ate upstairs away from the bus tours (must see the falls before tours arrive at about 10:00). Tabacon was exciting. The 50 wedding dinner perfect. I did yoga every morning in the rain forest gardens, rode horseback to cloud forest near lava flow (never did see the top of the volcano), did the zip line, and took the hot baths. What rain we had did not bother us. Tamarindo Beach was busy. The kids took surf lessons. We stayed up all night and were able to see the leatherback turtles lay their eggs. No one will forget that experience. The house was perfect for us away from the dusty, busy town yet within walking distance. Be advised that the house does have 5 bedrooms but only 5 double size beds and we were 12. Good news is that the owners are fixing up a guest house and it had beds in it although no mirrors, shower stuff, etc. Our son and family stayed in it and loved being away from all of us so the kids could nap and he could sleep late. Cars, transfers, and being met were all on time. Thank you for our memorable Christmas.
Cynthia
