All of your recommendations and advice regarding hotels and activities were absolutely on target. We loved every place that we stayed, although each place had different things that made it wonderful. Our favorite hotel was probably Hotel Grano de Oro. But our favorite overall were our days at Punta Islita. However, we loved Finca Rosa Blanca as well. Tabacon Lodge was alright as a hotel, but it was a wonderful area and we definitely enjoyed the hot springs. Unfortunately, it was cloudy so we didn't get the greatest views of the volcano. But we had a great time and saw some really awesome wildlife nonetheless.

As you know, I was a little skeptical about arriving in Costa Rica without any vouchers or receipts or anything. But everything was so easy and there wasn't a single problem that we encountered. Your planning was impeccable.

As you probably heard, my husband got a horrible ear infection. Because he was not allowed to get his ear wet, we were forced to cancel our whitewater rafting trip. I was disappointed because it was one of the parts of our trip I was most looking forward to. We spoke to the ground operator in San Jose on Friday April 27. She then spoke to the rafting company. And because my husband was sick and unable to go, they agreed to refund our money. They said we would be able to receive our refund through your agency here in the U.S. I hope this is not a problem.
