Your pre-retirement tour package was perfect for my introductory trip to Costa Rica!

Had a great time, made some new acquaintanceships, and came away with some great ideas and useful information.

The accommodations were great:

As you know, the Parque del Largo is located within walking distance to many of the shops and historical sights; it is also conveniently located within a two-block radius of the post office and Metropolitan Park La Sabana. Compared to other hotels in the city, the Parque del Largo provided a quiet atmosphere for relaxing after a day on the town. The views of the mountains, as seen at dawn from the front third floor windows, was a special early morning treat.

The Villa Alegre is like an oasis filled with folks possessing and sharing with you their genuine warmth, hospitality, and love of their dream. The owners, Barry and Suzye Lawson are great hosts. Each morning Barry prepares a gourmet breakfast which is complemented with Suzye's great table settings and beautiful flower arrangements.

The house is beautiful; and is filled with splendidly designed interior spaces. The special touches created throughout reflect the warm personalities of the Lawsons. The landscapes of tropical flowers, trees and foliage create beautiful vistas and panoramas which stretch from the house down to the sandy beaches and into the breaking waves of the Pacific Ocean.

The walks to and from Tamarindo, the evening walks on the beach, and the quiet moments spent reading on the veranda all added up to a much needed respite. Loved the sounds of an evening rain!

The tour guides, the drivers, and the escorts were friendly, professional, knowledgeable and punctual. All the tours were great and educational.

My special thanks to Gustav Mass for a great job. He certainly made me feel welcomed. His tours gave me a great appreciation for the country, its history, and its people. Many questions were answered; many curiosities were satisfied.

Beautiful country! Hope to return for a longer stay and with a working knowledge of Spanish.

All went as promised. Did not have any problems with anything.
