Day 1
Depart USA
Day 2
Arrive Manaus, a resort on the Amazon region. This afternoon is free to relax at the beautiful Tropical Manaus Resort. Following dinner you can enjoy a unique experience: an alligator-spotting tour. Departing from the Tropical Hotel pier you will have a night cruise along the surrounding area. Changing to motorized canoes, you will continue the visit along the Iguarapes to spot the alligators.

Day 3
A full day tour will include a city tour of nearby Manaus, once known as the Paris of the Jungle. After visiting the Amazon Theater, you will embark at the Manaus pier in regional boats to visit the meeting of the waters, including Piranha fishing and lunch in a floating restaurant.

Day 4
The morning is free to enjoy the resort. Depart in the afternoon on a flight to Rio de Janeiro. Transfer to hotel.

Day 5
Morning tour to Sugar Loaf Mountain, Rio’s famous peak set at the mouth of Guanabara Bay, for a dramatic vista of the city. Lunch at a traditional Brazilian barbecue restaurant. Afternoon free to explore Rio. Dinner will be at an excellent seafood restaurant.

Day 6
Today’s activities include a morning jeep tour in the Floresta da Tijuca showing the differences between nature and city. A stop at Macaco’s Waterfall can include a swim. Continuing on to the Chinese View, Emperor Table, Cascatinha Taunay and Mayrink Chapel. A walk through a light trail allows a chance to be in contact with nature. During the tour, the guide will explain the importance of the Mata Atlantica. Lunch at a rustic restaurant, deep in the heart of Tijuca National Park. Evening free to try many of Rio’s delicious restaurants.

Day 7
Spend an entire day on the white, sandy beaches of the tropical islands near Rio. Enjoy a one-hour drive to the city of Itacuruca before boarding a schooner which cruises among the tropical islands. Swim or wade in the shimmering emerald-green water or just relax on the island. A tropical buffet lunch will be served on the island. Return to Rio that evening.

Day 8
Spend your last morning in Rio on a tour to Corcovado Mountain which has been Rio’s top attraction. After a beautiful scenic drive along Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon and the area of Cosme Velho, visit the 2300 ft peak of Corcovado and the immense statue of The Redeemer. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the city and beaches from the summit. See the famous Ipanema and Copacabana beaches on the return. The afternoon is free to enjoy last-minute shopping or sightseeing.

Day 9
Morning flight to Iguassu. Transfer to hotel. That afternoon travel through Porto Meira and Three Frontiers Point on a half-day tour before crossing the Tancredo Neves for a different but very exhilarating look at the Argentine side of the falls.

Day 10
Today choose between a 1 ˝ mile walk through the breathtaking tropical forest of the Iguassu National Park on a 3-hour tour before arriving at the spectacular Iguassu Falls. Or a full day excursion to Itaipu Dam and Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, with an evening folklore show and dinner.

Day 11
Morning free to walk back over to the Brazillian side of the Falls. Afternoon flight to USA.
